I had never considered Barry Manilow for wedding songs until a friend of mine asked me why we didn’t have any of his songs on our site. Well here is Barry singing Somewhere Down The Road.

Born Barry Pincus in New York to Edna Manilow and Harold Pincus (who died in 1994 and 1993), Manilow is of Irish and Russian ancestry, with a predominantly Jewish heritage.

Since I said last post I like Edwin McCain, here is another of his songs which can be used for you first dance if you want. I think I would use it later on in the night after everyone has had a few drinks in them. The lyrics are great if you are a guy if you sing them to your new wife. She will love that. If you like county music then you will definitely like this one by Randy Travis called Forever and Ever, Amen as your first song to dance to. I am not a bug fan of country music but I do like this song and could see it being played as a first dance song in weddings.
