It’s great song…and mood setting for a wedding. Definitely a fathers message to his daughter on her wedding day. It’s currently on youtube….I listen to it everyday…and get chills.

I had never considered Barry Manilow for wedding songs until a friend of mine asked me why we didn’t have any of his songs on our site. Well here is Barry singing Somewhere Down The Road.

Since I said last post I like Edwin McCain, here is another of his songs which can be used for you first dance if you want. I think I would use it later on in the night after everyone has had a few drinks in them. The lyrics are great if you are a guy if you sing them to your new wife. She will love that. Edwin McCain – Could not ask for more is a newish song which is great for the first dance song of the night. I like Edwin McCain and this have excellent lyrics and has meaning. If you like county music then you will definitely like this one by Randy Travis called Forever and Ever, Amen as your first song to dance to. I am not a bug fan of country music but I do like this song and could see it being played as a first dance song in weddings.
